Issue #3 Page 66 - This & That

(Gary and Sarah are in her kitchen. She's making him something to eat and they are discussing recent events.) Panel 1 (Gary is standing in Sarah's kitchen as she tries to make him a sandwich. She is buttering bread and he is leaning against the sink in her galley kitchen. View is side on.) Sarah: Yeah, Dave's woken up. There's no internal bleeding but his hands are badly broken. Gary: Absolute bastards! It's like permanent closing time out there. Panel 2 (Close up of Sarah as she turns her head to speak over her shoulder.) Sarah: He'll be staying with friends of Melita's in the country soon. Panel 3 (Close up of Gary.) Gary: Oh right! These new friends of yours know Mel? Panel 4 (Sarah-vision. You can see her hands and the things that she's been touching. Things are red and white-ish blue. It looks really odd.) Sarah: What the…? Does the strangeness never end? Panel 5 (Gary stands by her side, and leans on the cupboard over her, to see what she's doing.) Gary: What's up? You making a mess again? Sarah: No. Um… nearly cut my finger. Panel 6 (Gary tries to catch the plate as Sarah is whizzing it past him. He's trying not to laugh.) Sarah: There you go. Can I get a lift to Daniel's later? Gary: Sure! Panel 7 (Sarah looks pretend shocked as she grabs her head, and Gary is laughing now. He is holding the plate with the sandwich on it.) Gary: By the way, your white streak looks weird and kinda messy. Sarah: You're kidding? I've got a white streak? Gary: Ha Ha! |

Issue #3 Page 66 - This & That

Hi Everyone,
And so we're back with Sarah finally, an updated Sarah with new hair. Yes, we've managed to find a real white streak for her, hence the joking around at the end. Also there's more weirdness with Sarah's hands. And Gary is back. About time too!
The outfit I'm making for our next photoshoot on the 20th is coming along. I don't really want to say too much about it. But I'm hoping it will look really good. Dark Red is a strange beastie. As soon as I start designing and making a costume for the comic, you never guess what, I find a real-life, honest-to-god, costume designer living next door and going out with a friend of mine. Bizarre much? She said she'd give me a hand if I get stuck. That's such a relief.
I also broke the Dark Red MySpace page recently. Shhh! Don't tell the webguy but I managed to lose some of the code so it had to be redesigned. It looks a bit more generic but more advanced now. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. I might even upload pictures and use it more often. Who can tell?
