Issue #3 Page 61 - Deadly Lessons
7th November 2008

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the first proper page of Issue #3 - 'Deadly Lessons'. It was heart-rending to read about the world wars and look through the old pictures. For your information Panel 3 is a mix of the Vickers Machine Gun in WWI and the Nagasaki Bomb in WWII. I hope we never see another world war or atomic bomb detonation.

In Britain we have a charity called the Royal British Legion. When you give them money you receive a poppy to wear for Remembrance Sunday, although we tend to wear them throughout November. This is to mark the end of World War I, specifically Flanders Field. In their own words - "The Royal British Legion is the UK's leading charity providing financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces, and their dependants."

I suppose thoughts are serious just now because of the recent election. It was amazing to hear of Barack Obama's win. We're all hoping for a brighter future now. I'd personally like to see Guantanamo Bay shut down and the US address environmental issues.

On a lighter note, Panel 1 features the Webguy's spices and Panel 5 my entire make up collection. Both Panel 1 and 2 have the Webguy playing Azazel and Bella is putting on makeup in panel 6. Just to keep you straight about things. It's nice to tell a story in a different way from usual. That's one of the new things we're trying this issue. This story ends next Friday.

Well I think that's enough for this week.

Have a great weekend,

Lynn
