(Richard explains more about the previously unknown Eloi and Daniel gets a shock.)

Panel 1

(Richard starts pacing around. And Daniel has sat down at Richard's desk and is having a quick look at his research.)

Daniel: These Eloi, are they related to the Elohim?

Richard: They are in a completely different class from angels. Eloi are the everyday workers of heaven.

Panel 2

(Daniel looks towards Richard. The view is from over his shoulder. You can see the old objects, papers, mystic stones and celestial maps that are scattered over the desk. Richard is also using candles for some extra light.)

Daniel: Whereas the angels are messengers and warriors. That's interesting. I didn't even know of their existence. But considering their nature, why would one be on this plane?

Panel 3

(Picture of the earth from space and people falling like comets from the clouds of heaven .)

Richard: In the heavenly wars, some of the Eloi slipped through by accident. They arrived at random points throughout the ages.

Richard: They aren't prepared for this world. It's my life's work to rescue them. For countless centuries the search has continued, on both sides of the war.

Panel 4

(Daniel swivels the chair and leans back looking up at Richard. Richard is rubbing his chin on the right of the panel and looking down at him.)

Daniel: And what can I do to help?

Richard: I think you met one recently, a girl with red hair.

Daniel: What? Sarah?

Panel 5

(This is a side view of the two of them. Daniel is on the bottom right and is looking annoyed, Richard has his hands in his pockets and is looking down. Papers and folders line the walls behind him.)

Richard: If that is her name. And you should really train that young man to fight. You can't protect him from evil in this city anymore.

Daniel: Really?

Panel 6

(Head and shoulders view of Daniel looking even more annoyed.)

Daniel: All right.

Daniel: I'll do that Cavendish.

Panel 7

(Richard Cavendish looks down. His face is slightly shadowed. He is frowning as he talks.)

Richard: Yes, and bring that young woman to me.
