(Iain starts the story of how Sarah became blind.)

Panel 1

Iain: Okay then. It all started when you fell in love.

Panel 2

(Black and white panel. Picture of a mysterious guy walking down an alleyway at night. He's wearing a long black coat, black trousers, tie and shoes and a white shirt. He's also got a black trillby on that is hiding his face. He has his hands in his pockets.)

Iain: With the worst type. He's the kind of guy who's into dark magic and the occult. Everywhere he goes it's death and disaster. But you didn't know that, you didn't think it was real. Harmless fun!

Panel 3

(Black and white panel. Picture of the guy doing a trick and lighting a cigarette off the flame in his hands. The flame is in colour.)

Iain: He could produce flame in his hands and you thought it was cool. You got involved fast.

Panel 4

(Black and white panel. Picture of the guy leaning against a wall at the corner of a street. The smoke is curling up from the cigarette he has in his mouth.)

Iain: And eaten up with curiosity you kept asking him to show you more, tell you how it all worked. Maybe because life can sometimes seem boring.

Panel 5

(Black and white panel. Picture of the guy with the sun behind him. It's a head and shoulder shot and you can only see the bottom half of his face.)

Iain: That guy and his magic tricks were all you could think of.

Panel 6

(Pictures of Sarah with a candle, reading an old occult book. Her red neck scarf is in colour. She's wearing a black T-shirt and black trousers. She's wearing a silver celtic knot on a necklace.)

Iain: You learnt a little about his world, about witchcraft and magic. Messed around with odd symbols, candles, and with his help, a glamour here and there. It was just enough to make it come alive.

Panel 7

Iain: And one day he asked for your help. And things were never the same again.
