Hi Guys!

Jo and I have had the best time recently doing the art for Dark Red. Oddly enough some of the things I thought would be really difficult and time consuming turned out to be relatively simple. I suppose that if I can give Iain a beard I can do anything. I'll keep telling myself that.

I really enjoyed the blurb from Rhys last week. We were talking on MSN and I was really snowed under with the art. I asked him and he said sure. That leads me to thinking that other members of the cast might like a guest blurb. Do you think I should ask our beautiful Bella next? I bet she would make an excellent guest writer!

When I wrote Dark Red initially, I wanted to write characters that I'd like to hang out with. I think this page is the first one where I've got the conversation to that place. So this is one of my favorite pages because of that. The scripts are being rewritten for the web. But the one thing I really wanted to retain from the old scripts was the banter and joking around that happens now and then.

Yeah, I still get that feeling. That I would love to hang out with these people.

Last night I paid for a shipment of hard copies of Issue #1. I'm really looking forward to getting them. The sample was okay. But a whole run is really exciting, that's running-around-laughing-and-jumping-exciting. It's going to be available online too. To tell the truth, I'm mostly getting it published for me. But on the off chance you want one, I'll let you know when they're ready. ;)
