Greetings to all you avid Dark Red readers!! It is I, Rhys, or Daniel as I am better known to you all and I shall be your guest blurber for the next… few paragraphs. I was kindly asked by Lynn to give my thoughts and feelings on the makings of the comic, as well as what it is like to be in front of the camera so to speak. It's difficult to say what you feel when someone asks you to be in a comic, flattered and honoured being the chief ones I think. You are given a top notch script to read and think over, whilst also being told what days to show up for your shoot. You spend a lot of timing reading your lines, trying to figure out the character. Sure you may not have to say the words, but gauging the person's expression for each given panel is crucial. Anyways, shoot days are always a good laugh. It can be tough to keep a straight face whilst trying to be "intense" all the time, and many a shot has been ruined as one cast member after another has their face crumple with laughter. Not to say we aren't professional in our approach, but the atmosphere is very relaxed and I think that is how we are able to get our best work done. I'm liking the introduction of this new character Dave, he seems like a great guy, and no wonder Iain goes to him for advice. Well, well, well, it appears that these aren't the first visions that Sarah has had… I wonder what other things we shall find out about her past? Great talking to you guys. Please keep reading, and please, please tell Lynn and Jo how much you are loving it. Bye-bye! Rhys |
