(The following excerpt is from the notes of a mystical researcher. He has been conducting interviews with nearby psychics and has asked to remain anonymous. — DGF)

After a recent premonition, I have taken it upon myself to research the mystics in this city. However, in finding the words to describe what I saw in my visions, I am unfortunately at a loss. I have tried to tell several people now, even write it down, and I cannot. This is highly unusual for me, and indeed my hands and my very soul shake at the thought of what I saw. I suspect the origin for this silence lies outside my mystical talent and can be found in the higher or lower planes. It feels like a curse but perhaps it is a blessing that others will not be terrified as I am.

After these visions had left, I felt that it was my task to seek these people out and question them. This might be merely for the sake of having a record but I hope it has a higher purpose than that.

I will not meddle with the events unfolding here and will take the position of the observant bystander. The immediate pages will record the interviews and I will also carry out other research as I go along. You are quite welcome to read through these interviews. Although I cannot answer any questions you might have.

It starts with a new mystic found recently in the city and will spiral out from there. And even though I have none, I hope that peace will go with you in your travels.

A quick word from your friendly neighbourhood web guy.

We're back with Issue #1 again to hear from the researcher who has been providing us with all the insights on the interviews page. He knows more than he is saying, more than he can say. It can't be helped. We will just have to wait for the events to unfold.

If you've had a chance to look about the site you might have noticed something funny with the new about page. Your browser's address bar should show that there's more than one of them. What's going on with that? I'm trying to find the best way to introduce new readers to the comic. In the future I'm going to start to directing new readers to the about page when they first visit the website. Don't worry, if you're a regular reader you'll continue to go straight to the latest page as you do now. Which is best advert for Dark Red? Is it behind door number one, door number two, or door number three? Join me on the forum if you want to have your say.

Enjoy,

Matthew
