Dark Red: It's Only Just Begun

Hey Everyone,

This would probably be a good time to explain how I'm planning the issues. Page 0, 30, 60 and so on will be title pages, and each issue will be 29 pages long, made up of 28 comic pages and a bonus page. There will also be a week between issues where I will post a behind the scenes page for fun, but it won't go into the archives afterwards just the gallery for that issue.

The rendering and art for Issue #2 is going like a dream. I'm having so much fun with it. What's helping is that the sets are great, also this issue has been planned carefully so that I don't have to do a lot of location shots, then tedious cutting and pasting and I know what I'm doing with the art process. Issue #1 was the hard graft, it had a lot of learning and redoing bits. I'm now reaping the rewards and Issue #2 is falling into place. It feels like a great weight has been lifted, and I didn't even know it was there.

You may have also worked out from my gushing about Issue #2 that the hard copy for Issue #1 is finally complete. And you'd be right. The nice people at Ka-Blam Digital Printing are currently validating it. I don't know how long the whole process will take, so it may be a while until you can get your mitts on a copy. Good things are a-coming!

On a last note, I've waited six months to put this page up. It was ready months ago and I don't know how I've managed to keep quiet about it. I've been really excited all week and I've nearly told several people that. Well, it's up now.
