Issue #1 Page 19 - Love the Beard

(Set in the Maze bookshop. Daniel and Anders welcome Iain back.) Panel 1 (Close up of Daniel laughing) Daniel: Back from the dead! Panel 2 (Daniel pats Iain on the shoulder and Iain smiles) Iain: Yeah, David Blaine eat your heart out. Panel 3 (Anders crosses his arm and looks relieved; the cross is still in his right hand. The panel shows his left side.) Anders: Wait till I see those frauds again. Panel 4 (Anders now holds Iain's shoulder. Iain is hanging his head slightly obviously embarrassed by the attention. Sarah can be seen behind them.) Anders: You're a sight for sore eyes man. Panel 5 (Close up of Sarah looking at Iain's face as Anders welcomes him back.) Panel 6 (Anders holds the cross out to Sarah, he's still suspicious. Sarah looks at the cross.) Anders: But there's something weird going on. Sarah: Iain? Anders: Maybe she's the one with the demon. Panel 7 (Iain puts an arm around Sarah and glares at Anders. Sarah looks a suspicious of Anders now.) Iain: Get a grip! She's fine, but I'm starting to think you two are insane. Anders: What makes you think we're not? You got the monopoly on it? Love the beard, by the way. Panel 8 (Close up of Iain smiling.) Iain: It's good to be back. |

Issue #1 Page 19 - Love the Beard

Hey Folks,
Unlike the previous page this one took huge amounts of work. In the end I had to ask Jo for advice. She suggested putting Iain's welcome on a different line from Sarah's and it worked. But getting the five panels to work on the top of the page took a lot of effort.
The photoshoots are going well, we had location shots last week-end. There's also a little one planned for tomorrow. I've got a couple of pages of Issue one still to do, a little tweaking here and there and then I can start the art on the next Issue. I can't wait!
There's a couple of new entries in the interviews page. And I will update the gallery tonight. I think that's about it.
