(Set in the Maze bookshop. It's dawning on Daniel and Anders that their friend may not be a zombie, ghoul, vampire, or generally possessed. But they're still unsure.)

Panel 1

(Close up of the right side of Iain's face. There is a glint in his blue eye and his mouth is set in anger. You can see that he's tired there is a dark circle round his eye.)

Iain: Thanks. Nice welcome guys.

Panel 2

(Sarah and Iain are still standing very close together; this panel is the view from in between them, from behind. In the foreground on the left there is the back of Sarah's head and on the right is the back of Iain's. The view in between them is Daniel on the left pointing the gun at Iain, and Anders on the right holding up the cross still.)

Daniel: You passed out of this plane. We were told you were dead.

Panel 3

(View of the side of Iain's head from shoulder height on his right. Sarah has turned to look at him. Iain has started to smile slightly as he talks.)

Iain: Or just more insane than usual. You could check. If you're not chicken.

Panel 4

(A close up of Daniel's hand as he puts the gun down on his cluttered desk. There's a cup of coffee, a copy of Dante, various stationary bits and pieces, a lamp and a laptop and a cross.)

Daniel: Very well.

(Daniel extends his hand out to Iain.)

Daniel: Come on then.

(Looking from side on, Iain and Daniel are clasping hands, thumbs on the top. Anders cross is still being held up to Iain.)

(Full headshot of Sarah as she watches what happens. Her left eyebrow is raised slightly. She is completely absorbed in what she is seeing.)

Sarah: Wow! That's so pretty.

Panel 8

(A close up of Daniel and Iain's hands as they are clasped. This panel is in Sarah vision, so it's on a dark blurry background. There is a dark blue glowing outline around Daniel's hand, and a lighter turquoise one around Iain's. They both have small starbursts coming from further up their arms, in the relevant colours although Iain's is brighter. Iain also has the glowing light green orbs around his hand and arm.)
