Dark Red: Avant!

Hi Guys,

Finally, we have entered the Maze, an odd little bookshop that you might not find normally. Who knows what's going to happen next? Well, I do, but I'm not telling.

Jo did a great job on the sound effects for this page. (For once I didn't interfere.) This page also has a slightly more normal panel layout. I didn't want to detract from the action. Oh and I love that last panel. The expressions are spot on!

Dark Red news! Rhys, a good friend of mine, who plays the owner of the Maze, the guy that Jo introduced you to last week, is moving back home next Sunday. So we're doing some of the photoshoots for Dark Red - Issue #2 before he goes. I'm really looking forward to starting the next issue but its going to be sad as well. (Don't go, Rhys!!!!)

And I'll let you into a little secret. Rhys is an actual hero. But that's just between you and me. It's an honour to have him in the comic and we will miss him. But he will be a continuing character so don't worry about that.
