Greetings,

Hope everyone's had a wonderful week, full of love, pink little clouds and pointy little arrows through hearts. Yeah, love sounds nice until you get shot through the heart once or twice. They say fools rush in, in regards to love, age makes angels of all of us. But I'm pretty sure Valentine's Day had its own dark roots and was just dyed a lighter shade through the last couple of centuries. It's like so many things, it starts off bloody and naked, then hallmark gets it's pink little mitts on it.

I hope you're all enjoying the comic. Things seem to be running smoothly, although I may have messed up the mailing list last week. Which to tell the truth I almost forgot to do. This week should be better.

This was a tough page to do. But after weeks of work and then totally redoing a bunch of it last week, and after a little but necessary touch up just now, it finally worked. It drove me up the wall and through the roof. I can still remember the utter frustration of trying to get it to look right. Back then I was still working on the style of the comic and that page never sat right. Coming back to it did really help. And that last minute touch up was totally essential. It's hard to get a telephone conversation to look good on a comic page.

Panel 5 is a new thing in Dark Red. I suppose I should explain, just this once. It's Sarah-vision. It's important! And that's all the explanation I'm willing to give.

Dark Red now has a gather page. If you want to see more of my art, that's where it'll mostly be. Although I should post some soon on my blog. I've also started The Webcomic Zone. They didn't seem to have a comic bit. We've got some members already. So if you need invited, just let me know. Join in and have fun.

We've also got a full links page and the forums have been redone to fit in with the Dark Red theme. So the website is pretty much the way I want it. Thanks to my web guy.

Have the best weekend,

Lynn
