This will have a soft green tinge to it. The colouring is soft and the backgrounds are very slightly fuzzed.)

Panel 1

(Dr. Gary Nelson is helping Sarah MacAllister up the stairs. She has longish red hair with a white streak, black coat, blue jeans, black top, white stick, she's pretty. He has a dark jacket and blue shirt, dark grey trousers, and short brown hair that's thinning on top slightly. They are both very serious and he's linked his arm under hers like she is leading him. It's a very Sarah thing to do and shows how strong she is even in her pain and disability.)

Sarah: I could've got a taxi.

Gary: No you couldn't.

Panel 2

(They stop and look at each other, Sarah looks annoyed and Gary looks serious. The whole mood is gloomy and serious. The stairwell is dark. Gary's face is in shadow as he looks down at her.)

Sarah: I can do this by myself.

Gary: Maybe but I'm not ready to let you.

Panel 3

(Close up of Sarah's white-stick and hand from above looking down, you can see the steps and the landing on the floor below them.)

Gary: Three more steps, then turn right.

Panel 4

(Close up of her looking determined and a bit annoyed)

Sarah: GARY! I know my own steps. I've known these steps longer than I've known you for Pete's sake!

Panel 5

(From behind as they make their way along the landing. Arms are linked again, full back view of Sarah and her medium long hair, and a partial view of Gary. You can see the light ahead of them and the dark wall.)

Gary: Give it time, please? For my sanity at least!

Sarah: Sorry. I've been so moody since it happened.

Panel 6

(Front view of Sarah and Gary, full view of Sarah and part view of Gary. He's looking at her and she's staring ahead; the white cane is held out in front of her.)

Sarah: It's not going to go away, is it?

Gary: No. And I'm sorry too.
