Hey Folks,

I thought it would be nice to show the original character sketches from three years ago. When I first started writing Dark Red it was to be a normal comic not a webcomic. I was going to draw it myself, but I didn't think my art was good enough. I'm pretty sure I've improved since then.

Looking back at these old drawings I think that the cast we've got is actually a pretty close match to how the characters looked in my mind. I think Melita has changed most over time. She got a bit younger and more modern.

The only problem is I used to have a really good sketch of Daniel and I couldn't find it. Well, you know him, he's probably off fighting demons somewhere. If you see him, let me know. ;)
