The Dark Red Chronicles

Early in the morning I had to call Napster and complain about their 'free' seven day trial (As in I got charged during it!) and the fact that their FAQS were mince. Got stuff sorted. I also sorted some holidays at work that had went left at the traffic lights. :)

Work went well and swiftly. I enjoyed the evening with a few friends in a lovely cozy wee pub.

Last night I went to see "The Dream of Gerontius" by Elgar at the Glasgow City Halls by the City of Glasgow Chorus, a certain letterer is a member of the choir. It's a lovely piece of music in which the choir take turns at being Angels and Demons. I loved the way the music rises up and the guardian angel tries to help the human man. The lyrics are from a poem by Cardinal Newman about a man dying and what happens after.

I found the heavenly choir pieces very soothing and everything went all dreamy. At that sort of time my brain goes on little trips and makes up things. So by the time the piece had ended I had the plot for another novel. Also that night I had the best dream, which will make a nice short story. All in all I think I should listen to more classical music.

Seems like an unfair advantage, but it serves them right for charging me and having wrong info in their FAQs. [User Picture]
